We all have times when we wonder, “Am I working for the right organization? Am I in the right job? And is this all there is?” This Harvard Business Review article discusses how helpful tips on how to handle these kinds of thoughts and offers possible paths to take in understanding the answers, whether they are simply that you need a new outlook on your job, or more drastically, that you need to make a career change.
In fact, one study found that the number of people who say they cannot concentrate at their desk has increased by 16 percent since 2008. Also startling: The number of workers who say they do not have access to quiet places to do focused work is up by 13 percent.
Start-ups and companies these days are prone to offering in-office perks, but studies show that just because there is a pool table and a latte dispenser in your break room, doesn’t mean that office productivity will go up.

In an ideal world, healthcare providers would be constantly studying patient satisfaction scores for even the smallest suggestions that could help them improve the patient experience. In a more realistic setting, though, healthcare providers are struggling to implement improvements and rarely have time for meaningful engagements with patients that could translate to even the smallest advances in patient care.
